Welcome to Leigh St Peter’s CE Primary School.

At Leigh St Peter’s, we are committed to providing a high‑quality education within a distinctively Christian environment, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. Guided by our Christian faith, we seek to ensure that our pupils are “living life in all its fullness” (John 10:10) and are inspired to “let their LIGHT shine” (Matthew 5:16).

We hold the highest expectations for all our children — for their achievement, attendance and behaviour — believing that every pupil, without exception, is capable of success. Our inclusive approach ensures that children of all backgrounds and needs are supported and challenged to achieve their very best, developing confidence, resilience and strong moral character.

As a happy and diverse school serving the Leigh community, our dedicated staff work tirelessly to deliver excellent teaching and learning. Our carefully designed curriculum builds strong foundations in knowledge and skills, nurtures talents, and prepares pupils confidently for the next stages of their education and their future employment and life beyond school.
