Our Primary Knowledge Curriculum (PKC) is carefully sequenced and designed to ensure that learning builds progressively from the Early Years through to Year 6. Knowledge is organised coherently so that pupils develop a secure understanding of key concepts before moving on to more complex content. Through regular retrieval practice, purposeful revisiting of prior learning and carefully planned progression across subjects, children learn more and remember more over time. Each unit builds upon previously taught knowledge, enabling pupils to make meaningful connections within and across subjects while developing increasing depth of understanding. The curriculum has been mapped to fully cover the National Curriculum, ensuring that all statutory requirements are taught in a logical and ambitious sequence. This knowledge-rich approach supports pupils in developing a strong foundation of understanding, preparing them successfully for the next stage of their education and lifelong learning.
