SCHOOL MEALS

Children can order a school meal or bring packed lunches to school.  All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to free school meals.  This is known as Universal Free School Meals.

If your child is having school meals they can order their dinner at home with a parent or carer, or in the morning, with their class teacher, when they come into school.   If you want to order your children’s dinner at home please speak to someone in the school office and they will arrange a log in for you.

School meals are expected to be paid for weekly and money should be sent into school in an envelope with your child’s name on and the amount in the envelope. Alternatively, meals can be paid for via parent pay.  Please ask at the school office if you would like to use this service.

If you feel that your child is entitled to free school meals use this link to apply  https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals

If your child is having a packed lunch we would be grateful if you could make it a healthy one.  We don’t allow fizzy drinks in school and discourage sweets.  All children, including those on packed lunches have access to water or milk at dinner time.
