At Leigh St Peter’s CE Primary School, Relationship and Health Education (RHE) is delivered through the SCARF curriculum, enabling children to develop the knowledge, skills and values needed to build positive relationships, make safe and healthy choices, and grow into confident, respectful and responsible individuals.
Rooted in our Christian vision to “Let Your Light Shine” (Matthew 5:16), SCARF supports children in understanding themselves and others, promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, inclusion and respect. Through an age-appropriate and progressive curriculum, children learn how to keep themselves safe, value diversity, develop healthy friendships and make informed decisions, equipping them with the character and confidence to flourish both in school and beyond.
