At Leigh St Peter’s, we believe that working together helps every child to achieve their very best. You can support your child by setting aside a regular time each week for homework and encouraging them to complete the three key tasks. Please listen to your child read regularly and ensure that five reads are logged on Boom Reader by Friday, support them in spending at least 15 minutes on TT Rock Stars each week, and help them complete and return their times table sheet by Friday. Celebrating effort, practising little and often, and showing interest in your child’s learning can make a huge difference to their confidence and progress.
To help children develop responsibility and positive learning habits, any homework that is not completed by Friday will be completed in our Reflection Room during lunchtime.
