Topic: Electricity in moving mechanisms – Friday 28th September 2018

Have a look at the work we have been doing to incorporate electricity into a design for a moving toy car.


First we had to make working circuits.

Then we worked on making a frame for our vehicle.


Next we focussed on putting a circuit with a motor onto the frame.

Year 6: End of Year Show – Wednesday 27th June 2018

Year Six are busy rehearsing for our end of year production. We are all looking forward to seeing it- and singing the catchy songs!

Mean, mode, median and range – Wednesday 9th May 2018

How many baked beans are in a tin? We estimated first then counted them. We worked out the mean, mode, median and range. How many beans do you think are in a tin?

Fossils – Friday 20th April 2018

Year Six had fun learning about fossils and then creating their own using a clay mould and shells. We became palaeontologists as we then excavated our fossils using a variety of tools.

On Friday the children performed an assembly on the theme of Magic Minds. Each group created and did various activities which demonstrated their skill.
